Private investigators accused of planting a microphone in London’s
Ecuadorian embassy have denied any part in the alleged bugging.
Ecuador’s Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino said he had “reason to
believe” the device found in the building where Wikileaks founder Julian
Assange is hiding was planted by The Surveillance Group Ltd.
But CEO of the Worcester-based firm Tim Young said: “This is completely untrue. The Surveillance Group do not and have never been engaged in any activities of this nature.
